I've been feeling the need to talk about this as with everything going on, it feels best to talk about this. Over the month of March, deviantArt has been pushing more AI-related content, on top of feeling like it's been undermining the community it has been building. A lot of issues have started with the Eclipse Update and has been getting worse. Due to this, I've been seeing many artists no longer uploading certain subjects related to IPs, and even those disconnecting all together. I want to reiterate my point: I am staying on deviantArt, but I will most likely be pushing those away from deviantArt. dA to me has been a home for more than a decade, something that has helped changed my life for the better. Hey everyone! 👋 October is feeling like that month that actually feels more planned out than usual. So I wanted to take the time and let people know what's going on this month, any new updates, Etc. Month of OCs: Knights and Companions
The time has come once more! From July 1st to 31st (2023), Month of OCs will return with a new theme! Art, Stories, Contest, and Giveaways all going on once more! This month's theme is based on characters' adventures and journeys in fantasy worlds. From the Knights in shining armor defending the kingdom, to the brave characters exploring the dungeons, this month is dedicated to them! Expect 1 art piece related to it every week for July! The Art Contest is BACK! Expect more details on the website right now and posted next week. Prize Pot is starting at: $200! I do hope to see other people's characters having adventures and exploring the world together this year.
